Replacement for Dell m6700 (firepro m6000)
This is one of the few cards with a low enough power requirement to work in a Dell precision. Have tried 780, 880 and amd r9 290x all of the same era as the m6700 and all of them require too many Watts than the mxm can handle. The 970m is a perfect fit for the dual heat pipe cooling solution and only the X bracket needed to be swapped. It runs cool and quite, it can play games too, Doom 2016 @ 50ish fps, hunt show down is in the low 40's (high 30's) both medium/high custom settings 1920*1080. Really pleased, has breathed a little more life into an essentially obsolete/end of life laptop.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
