I bought this to act as a monitor for a CCTV system, it is connected via the HDMI port. It worked out of the box and after initial concerns about trying to tilt it on its stand (it turns out that I needed to be a bit more brave to overcome the friction when doing this) it gives sharp, clear images. I did tweak the colour, brightness and contrast settings too but frankly this wasn't really necessary. It looks smart too.

Screen looks well made but there are a few issues. I haven't managed to set up the picture to true colour or focus. There are just too many variables . This was bought as a screen for a laptop for my wife but I have had to give her the screen from my Dell desktop which set up properly immediately.
