A good replacement for my usual brand of filters that I can no longer get
The filters certainly do what they're supposed to - they filter coffee. They don't become clogged before all liquid has filtered through. The strong, pressed seams don't break or tear, so no coffee grounds are allowed through (unless of course you pour too much water in, such that coffee mix spills over the top of the filter - I do this occasionally!). Costs in bulk (10 packets of 100 filters) are very competitive. Two small negatives: Compared to the previous brand of size 2 filters I used to buy, these are slightly smaller (shorter), so their capacity is also less. The welded seams are sufficiently wide for the filters to not fit easily into my plastic filter support. They do fit, but much better if I fold the seams first before dropping the opened filter into the support.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good value, but not perfect
The best thing about these filters is the price - way better than the Melita ones. The downside is that occasionally they leak, the paper is thinner than Melitas and sometimes the grounds come through. Excellent results
Excellent value. These paper filters provide excellent results which are far superior to anything that the "permanent" filters produce. No matter how fine the coffee grounds are - no dregs at the bottom of the cup when I use one of these filters, which was a continual problem with various "permanent" filters. After use the filters are dumped in my composter in the garden with all the other compostable waste and after a few weeks they are no more: just good compost. If only Edesia could send someone round to fold a filter for me each time I want to use one ....... is that too much to ask?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
