Seems to work fine
Purchased this as backup in case of A/C outage. Our house is large so when one Central unit goes out the others have a hard time compensating. The LG seems to work well. I also wanted a unit that could serve as a dehumidifier. I live in Texas, It's HOT and HUMID. The unit is heavy but I expected that. it does have casters so moves fine on the tile. Good power for a portable AC
I mainly bought this for a backup unit, in case my central AC goes out. Now I can see me using it more, like for a good night sleep,when I don't want to cool off the whole rest of the house, or just as a extra boost for a warmer room. It seems to have nice cooling power. It looks very nice and sleek. The digital controls, chimes, and features make it a very modern unit. The only drawback so far is that I wish it was a little quieter, but then again, I have to realize that the whole unit is indoors. Unfair to compared it to your central A/C, where the main noise maker is outside the wall being buffered. Also----you can wheel this anywhere you want to. Would recommend
While I enjoy the AC. The AC will go into what I would describe as standby mode. The AC just blows cool air but you can tell the compressor is not activated. Will do this every 15 to 20 minutes. Note this is during an 8 hour use. I do not think it cools all the way down to 60 degrees. Will get a thermostat and see if it does get to 60.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

I couldn't be more happy with this AC Unit.... It's great !!
It's ok but it's not cooling my loft that I have in the same room, the room itself is being cool down but I thought it might be able to cool the upper floor which is small room above the room but is not working for it. It's very powerful, I just rated 4 stars for the same reason I mention above.
