Great medical book. You need a little medical terminology to get through and understand what is written. But each diagnosis gives you the clinical findings (symptoms and signs, lab), a differential diagnosis, and treatment. Some diseases have tables of causes of the disease. It also covers some simple problems such as dizziness or cough, but does give a great deal of detail on the more serious diseases, such as heart, diabetes, renal, etc. Different medicines are also discussed per disease. Other categories depending on the diagnosis go into prevention, general considerations, complications, prognosis, etc. I am so glad I bought this book - much more readable than the MERCK manual.
