Hopeless Product
What a hopeless product this is, it constantly drops connection to such an extent that I have given up using it after days of trying. We have just installed a Wifi TV and I thought this would provide a faster 600mbps connection to our garden room but it just doesn't do what it is supposed to do. I have been using a supposedly slower TP-Link product of the same type for a number years and it has been great, always connects and rarely needs to be reset. Initial setup did work but took a few attempts to get both parts to pair. It does say not to use it on an extension lead which I have done, also tried it on a lead to check the difference- both performed in the same way. I have tried just using an ethernet cable directly connected from my TV to the device and it also makes no difference. I would suggest you try a different more reliable product. The concept of using your household mains wires to essentially run a 'wired' link to anywhere in your house is genius- but only if it works.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Improved Wi-Fi Signal
The product was bought to boost the Wi-Fi within an extension bedroom to my house that is seperated from the main house by the original double brick exterior wall. The BT Mini Wi-Fi Home Hotspot 600 Kit greatly improves the wi-fi signal, however it occasionally drops which requires the connection being re-booted via the WPS button on both the Wi-Fi Home Hotspot and mobile devises.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy Internet for problem access.
This is an ideal piece of kit for overcoming dead spots. It is very easy to set up, and there are good, helpful videos on YouTube if you have difficulty. Once installed, it gives a good clear signal and doesn't lose connection. I don't know what I did without it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
