Well worth the money
I have drooled over this optics setup for a couple years. I usually buy one expensive gun related item per year. I was stuck between the EXP3-4 + G33 3X or a suppressor. I am glad I chose these optics. First off, extremely well made and very easy to install. It comes in a hard case with a laminated quick start card. Additional documentation is available for free download on line. If your like me your register the scope to get the two year warranty and then head to the download page and get all the extra documentation. So I installed the system and practiced with it. I got use to the brightness adjustments using them in different lighting situation. I also practiced with magnifier & without. I will agree with some people that when using the sight without the magnifier it is hard to see each of the three aim dots. But that is difficult for me to complain about because I have several eye issues and wear progressive lens eye glasses. If you have never worn those type glasses, you have to have your eye perfect aligned with what you looking at down range and aligning a close up sight at the same time. Bottom line. As I zeroed the sight I shot around 100 rounds into a 100 yard target with magnifier and shredded it within a 4" dia. circle. After I finalized my zero I am comfortable to say I can place every round at 100 yards into a 2" dia. circle using the magnifier. With out the magnifier at 50 yards I can do the same, about a 2" dia shot group. Not supper accurate but extremely quick to get on target. That is what I was looking for so I am very satisfied and I made a great choice. On a separate note, I have a very accurate 223 BCD scope that I will use if I am shooting long ranges of 300-600 yards. The EOtech system in my opinion is excellent for close quarter & home defense. Disappointed
The reticle is fuzzy no matter how dim you set it without using the magnifier. For the price there’s no excuse for this. There are other brands half the price that have a better reticle. EOTech should recall these.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Sight
Its very durable, it took more than an hour to zero in at the range. Once zeroed the grouping was very tight. The magnifier is excellent for long distance shots, and the flip to side is great. The cons are the price at close to $1000, the sight added significant weight, and reticle sight is very fuzzy without the magnifier.
