Quiet and easy to fit.
Bought this to replace its predecessor after 7yrs, which started to play up, and didn't want the hassle of removing and fixing (repair kits, were half the cost of a new one anyway and they had stopped making the mechanical kit anyway!). Very similar shape and size, although the infeeds have moved from back horizontal to top vertical, so all 4 connections are now on top. and the oblong base is turned 90degrees so I had to remake the mounting block I had it sitting on. Came with a normal prefitted plug. and 4 short flexible push fit hoses and two mesh strainer/washers for in-feed, two washers for out feed. It is much much quieter than the previous model ever was, in fact, you can hardy hear it when its on (mine is positioned under the bath). more of a hum than a rumble. I hope this one lasts 7 years. These are good pumps..but
They no longer make these, regrettably on our original, the outer plastic casing of the chamber just split one morning, thankfully while we were there! It had been hardly used in 4 years from new! Don’t think it was frost, it’s well away from thick outside wall, fatigue but so little use (maybe 40 showers), must be manufacturing fault as rest was good. Had to buy 2nd pump to get a the small plastic cover that split. This pump was newer so just fitted this and will keep mine for spares. Guess that’s why they have new design now.
