You can use its HDMI and USB ports to connect this Panasonic receiver to other devices. This receiver features a convenient electronic programme guide that lets you view TV schedules up to 8 days in advance. In addition, this guide gives you the option of recording a single episode or an entire TV series. Compatible with AVI, JPEG, and MP3 formats, this receiver can be used to play your own files.

A great piece of kit.
This is a great item. Easy to install and use. Several of the options are a bit 'long winded' to do but the manual is pretty good at explaining the operations. Perfect if you have a Panasonic TV as it will talk to it through the HDMI cable. If I had any minus points they would be only 'picky' ones. Would be nice to have some sort of display showing when the unit is in standby (maybe a clock?). The only other thing is that it is quite slow to spin up when switching on from standby, taking around 30 seconds to come on. No real hassle except if you are rushing to set up a program. Overall it does a great job.

Excellent, a bit complicated and I am still find my way round all the features on the hanset, there are many that I have never used. and have no idea what they are for. but it is a great recorder and I am getting there.

Quality at an affordable price.
Whilst being of a much earlier generation TV recorder and therefore without all the bells and whistles of modern equipment it does what it says on the tin. It records up to 2 programmes at a time, it pauses and winds back current TV shows (although I haven't mastered that facility yet) This is a quality product at an incredibly bargin price.
