Using a single IP address, the HP ProCurve model 2910al has capacity for a potential virtual stack accommodating up to 16 switches. The IPv6 and v4 protocols and IEEE 802.3 PoE compliant Power over Ethernet features support devices such as IP phones and pan/tilt security cameras. The network switch performs optimally whether selecting queue configurations with access to 24 port switches or using layering and static routing features characteristic of top performing networks. Integral to the units operation is inbuilt port monitoring making your system secure by encrypting data and watching out for network threats.
