Pros: This Zeiss Biogon T 35mm F/2 is just what I was looking for. Light weight, non obtrusive to subjects, sharp as a tack, has the color rendition of my Leica 35mm -70mm, simple to use and the communication to my Sony A7M2 was exactly as reported by professionals. It pulls in the subject to manually adjust the focus, and I also pre-set a button to further increase the image. No distortion when enlarging the subject, pre shot. This will be my everyday walk around camera and it can use it for landscapes and close-ups as well. Great buy for anyone! Excellent Manual Focus 35mm F2 Prime Lens
This is the real deal at a reasonable price. The Zeiss Loxia lenses are built very solidly and the glass has the new "T" coatings, the same coatings at the Master Prime lenses have. I find the lens to be very sharp and contrasty. Of course it is a manual focus lens so you have to be proficient enough to work that way. Another Zeiss Gem
Zeiss has used this 35mm f2 formula for years and has definitely perfected the MF, small form-factor lens. It’s a sturdy yet light lens which works well with both stills and video in mind. There’s really no comparison to the contrast and colors of this Zeiss patent. Slow down, focus with intent and you will really have some images you’re proud of. Iv kept this lens on my a7riii body for months and it will always be either on my camera or in my bag. You’re going to pay a premium for a new version, but the used market is a buyer’s one.

Zeiss Loxias are the best
I bought this 35mm Loxia for Landscape and Travel. I plan to use it as a one lens carry around when a manual lens is OK to use. This is my third Loxia and they all are great for Landscape.
