Faster than expected
Very pleased with this purchase. First time I have used a Windows Laptop with a SSD. It boots up so much faster now. Worth it just for that. Transferring large files seems about 4 times faster than before. My Laptop is silent now apart from when the cooling fan kicks in which is less frequent due to cooler operation (no moving parts other than the cooling fan). I cloned my old hard drive to the new SSD using Norton Ghost software. I then formatted the old drive and bought a caddy for it which fits inside the laptop where the DVD drive was. I never use CDs or DVDs anymore so it's great to have the two hard drives instead. I keep my data encrypted on the second (Old) hard drive. Last but not least, I messed up when I ordered. Didn't notice it would be coming from Hong Kong to the UK. Expecting to have to wait months, it arrived less than a week later.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product!
I changed IDE setting in BIOS to AHCI. Cloned my system HDD to this one and it's like a rocket. I never thought that Windows 10 may load in 6 seconds. It's unbelievable. No more annoying hdd noise. Plenty speed in system work. Great! Recommend this Ultra II SSD.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
