Canon Elph 170 IS
This point-and-shoot camera is easy to use and the used price was a lot less than new PAS cameras. I tried adding a wifi sd card but it was slow...so i replaced it with a high speed version. With this version I used a "SmartQ" usb-c device that connnected the SD with my Android phone..I was able to transfer photos off the SD quickly. Lightweight with the features I need
I needed a camera to take on a 480 mile pilgrimage, one that would be light weight and able to do wifi so I could transfer my camera shots to my IPad and thus post them on the internet. This camera was light, fit into a pants' pocket, took good pictures, and is able to transfer my pictures, so it's perfect for my needs. Great replacement for my older Canon that I dropped and it was not fixable. Very happy with how fast this arrived, the excellent condition that it was in, and that I can use it easily. It's not the same as my ELPH 310 that I am used to so I am having to get used to a new camera. It arrived in time for me to take pictures at my brother's wedding so I was happy about that! I printed out wedding pics for my bro and new sister-in-law and they were thrilled with the quality of the photos. The battery pack is different from my old camera so they are not interchangeable. I ended up taking the wrong battery pack to the wedding and so the battery did run out and I couldn't do anything about it. I did call Canon service for advise on using the camera and inserting the carrying strap and found them very helpful. Good camera with flimsy casing
I had an older Canon, the casing was metalic and much sturdier. That is the only thing I don't like about this camera. The case is plastic and seem very flimsy. Other than that it is a good camera for how much it cost. Canon makes good cameras.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
