Nice Printer
Print quality is awesome, was easy to set up and connect WIFI, was also able to download Dell printer app to my phone to print straight from my phone. I do not have to be by the printer either, I can print from my phone anywhere I am. Arrived in its Dell box and was packed very well. The printer is a bit heavy, had to turn the box on its side to slide it out as you cant lift it out. Setup was real easy for everything. Install disc came with to run on PC. It did also come with all toner and was ready to roll. I have never had issues with any of the Dell products I have ever purchased and there has been quite a few.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Initial Experience but didn't last
I purchased two of these. I have had problems with both of them. Dell replaced one under warranty, the other one is out of warranty. They do not like aftermarket ink and Dell's is expensive. If you have error codes related to printing, you can't do anything with the scanner portion either. Buy something else.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Dell E525W Color Laser
Part One was: I read other reviews and that is why I chose the Dell E525W Laser. They were right. It is an amazing printer. Also, how it could be sold so inexpensively is a mystery to me. It came in a secure carton and worked after I installed the drivers and other programs from the enclosed disk. I did try installing the software on a Windows XP, but it doesn't work on that, but on my Windows 7, it works. Maybe professional photographers can find fault with the quality of picture printouts, but even on copy paper the images look amazing. I don't know if special photo paper works better and I probably won't find out because to me the printouts from my cameras look like photos and I personally don't have a need for better quality prints, if indeed a better quality is possible. Part two is: I used generic ink and things went terribly wrong. So much so that I had to throw it out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for stand alone printer, small toner cartridges.
I set this one up on a network of (3) systems. 2 win 10 1803 and 1 win 7. one of the win 10 systems is a little hinkey... (slow to print, and scanner will not work sometimes until you cycle the printer) other then that is is a great product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome Printer
From set up to 1st use this unit was easy to connect. The quality of the color copies and printed media is beyond belief considering the low cost of the printer. In fact you would think you were using a much more expensive unit. We even used this unit to print photos, although the guide says it isn't photo rated. Photos were beautiful too. Just use a good photo paper for best results. Replacement cartridges are very affordable, but we are a long way from needing to replace them so far. Great value, bye bye inkjets
No more expensive clogged inkjet cartridges! I went to inkjet when my B&W only 600 dpi laser was killed in a lightning storm. It would have costed thousands of dollars to replace it back then and inkjets were cheap. I've regretted it ever since! I don't print often and when I did they would empty the ink cartridges trying, most of the time without success, to clean the clogged jets. For less than $200 I fixed that problem for good. Awesome Toner Printer!
The Dell E525w toner printer is the answer to sky high ink prices. This printer can be set up to be wireless, which is what I have done. The paper tray holds 150 sheets of paper and is enclosed keeping the paper clean. The toner cartridges that come with it will print 700 pages without drying out because toner is powder! Doesn't matter how long you have it. My decision to change printers was made after paying $40.00 for inkjet cartridges to get 50 pages of printed material. I was not happy! So out came my research and as a result I bought this printer. You can't print out photos because you would be using photo paper with the glossy finish which the toner roller would have a hard time rolling onto that finish. You can, however, print them on regular paper. My fix for that is to disc the photos, go to Wally World and print the photos if you MUST have them printed. I use laser printers in my retail business and I find the print quality of this printer is exceptional - especially image clarity. The print is fast and easy to use. The only short coming is the paper tray is a bit smaller than I would like - it holds 50-60 pages of 24 lb paper. Glad I got it.
Took about an hour to set up and load the CD to two laptops. Nothing difficult. Prints nice but I’m used to inkjets. It’s really quiet and a lot faster than what I’m accustomed to. Bought extra ink.
