Awesome picture! At 10 feet, you don't need 4K!
I can't tell the difference between this unit and a 4K! Up close yes, if were a cell phone that you were looking at up close then 4K pixel count is good. At a distance however where most people will view their sets, these look fantastic and a LED cannot compare. This is a whole new level of viewing. Great conversation piece when you see how slim the screen is! The truly deep blacks are awesome. I have not had a calibration done as of yet...not sure I need to! The Web OS is very easy to use and the magic remote makes that very easy. Much nicer to point and click! This unit will accept most all mounts also. Not something that is mentioned in most reviews. I had a older Level Mount that I re-used from my older LG LCD. Spacing is much closer than the old one but the verticals for the mount bolt right up. There is 4 screw holes to mount with. This LG 55eg8100 1080p smart curved oled 3d tv with web os 2.0 is by far the best tv that I have every purchased. The Tv has all the latest smart features and the OLED picture is hands down the best quality picture i have ever seen on an HDTV/ The curve is a great feature since you can watch from any angle in the room and not lose any picture quality , color or brighness. i love this TV and have been enjoying it immensely. best 1080p TV on the market
This is the best 1080p TV on the market bar none, unless you are in a really bright room then I recommend going with a LCD panel that can reach higher brightness levels, such as the samsung JS8500/9000 series. A lot of the banding issues / dirty screen effect that were a problem last year have been fixed in newer revisions, I was lucky enough to get a unit produced in Feb 2016 that has firmware that is not even available yet. Set this TV to ISF pro and you're good to go, its like having a picture quality better than the cinema at home, watch a dark movie like aliens and be astonished at the inky blacks and the amazing color.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent OLED picture at good price
You can't beat the outstanding OLED picture at this price. I am happy that I didn't fork out an extra 2k for 4k resolution that do not expect to utilize do to the lack of content out there. Unit looks great and is extremely lightweight and easy to move around. OLED vs Plasma
I'm a picture quality snob and was sad when my plasma TV started going out. Only TV said to have picture quality almost as good as plasma was the LG OLED. Picture is smooth and crisp and sound on this TV is better then any TV I've ever owned.
