I have had various all in one remotes and though recently they have got a lot better, I think there is still a little way to go to get them working perfectly, controlling everything needed. I have had a Harmony remote before so all I had to do was plug the remote into my computer where it picked up all the settings automatically. Brilliant, all I had to do was add a couple of extra items and it was ready to go. IT WORKS :) I switched the "Watch TV" button on and it switched my TV on and my satellite box and the amplifier, then turned the source to the correct output. The only problem then was change to devices to change the volume on the amplifier etc, then when finished if you switch off one or more device using the devices messes up the watch tv command, you have to remember if you use the command to start watching, you should press it again to switch everything off. Using the devices button to change settings on a device separately is more time consuming but works fine. I think its just a matter of fine tuning things, so far I have struggled with the Hue lights and also getting Alexa to change channels through harmony isn't working, but I'm hoping reinstalling the hubs should sort this. Certainly one of the best universal remotes around.Read full review

App is not intuitive. Works great once set up. Amazon echo integration would be good but its a tong twister to say 'echo tell harmony to... turn on sky / turn on Sky one / turn up the volume / turn off the computer etc. Wants to be simple commands for example 'echo turn up the volume / ... There is also no LightWaveRF control or 433mhz learn function which is available on cheaper systems. I find this disappointing as it means that harmony only does half the job! Its clever and half thought out but royalty misses the point of making tasks simple!

Well designed (although I am literally onto my 3rd unit after two failures, but I'm fairly sure that was fluke) and sits comfortably in your hand. It fixes the horrible design decision of its predecessor to have the media control buttons at the top, and having some dedicated light control buttons at the bottom is handy too. The software for programming it is good (albeit a tad tricky for some more specific instructions). The bit that it falls down with is the connection to home automation systems. Basically unless you're using Nest, Smart Things or LIFX then you're not able to use it. It'd have been nice if Logitech had had some kind of API for adding your own system to it. In the mean time I have a script setup to emulate an LIFX bulb that lets me remotely control a handful of devices. Also it'd be nice if precision IR emitters were offered instead of the blasters.Read full review

Only issue I have is the battery life seems to be only a few days so have to have the charger located near the sofa This maybe a dead battery or just high drain on the battery

As advertised, easy to setup, I now only need one remote, I was using three remotes before. Sits in its own charging dock when not in use therefore always ready and charged.
