Human-I-T did a very good job packing this system for shipping. Unfortunately the HD was trashed.
This is the second ML-9600 I have purchased. The first one I had purchased new and have wanted a backup for it. These are great professional products by Alexis but unfortunently they are no longer made or supported by them after the company went through a financial crisis/reorganization and now just focuse on consumer products. Many of these have gone by the wayside but if you can obtain one that is in good working order, you will have a nice RedBook CD Mastering system.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Must Have
This was a must-have for any studio 15 years ago. You know what? If it works, it still is. This allows the user to set up playlists and master them. From arranging the tracks in order, setting up time lapse at the beginning, scrubbing the head and tail, fade in and fade out and so much more. It gives you a polished stereo two track and burns it to CD. The only problem I encountered is my hard drive crashed after about four years. I looked up on YouTube how to replace the hard drive and it took me about half an hour to do it and reinstall the software. It was pretty simple. The unit has been working fine now for the last 12 years. I purchased another one as a back up off of eBay and it’s working great as well.
