An analog-sounding converter
When choosing a converter during the last decade, it seemed wise to simply choose one which gave me the sound I was after. Transparent converters cost a ton then. Now, I reach for that sound still, and added another eight channels to complement the much more flexible and advanced units which do the routing and DSP effects.
