Marshall tone monster
I've owned this amp for 2 months now after being a Fender man my whole life. This amp is a pleasure to play thru. I can put it on half power and use it at home better than I thought I would be able to. It can crank that pure tone also on half power. Full and beautiful tone either dirty or clean
This amp blows away any Line 6 amp! True Marshall tone breaks through the band mix and produces that wonderful luscious sound that makes either rhythm or lead virtually perfect at any setting. Zero noise and very loud, this is my favorite amp between my Fender Vibrolux and my Mesa Boogie Blue Angel. Nothing like a marshall
I've had them all, some come close but that marshall crunch is awsome. Dsl40 big enough to gig?,,Hell yea!!!. You hear people upgrade the stock speaker ,the 70/80 is a bite Brite but you should be able to tweak the tone knobs. Overall,, awsome ampVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A great amp. But, it's heavy.
You probably know a lot about this amp already. So, I will tell you something that most people don't talk about. This amp is heavy and bulky. If you are looking for an amp that you can carry to your buddies house, or move from room to room often, you will find that this amp is a pain to carry around. It weighs about 50 pounds which might not sound like much. But, when you carry this amp... by the handle...with one hand...it is a load. Exactly what I needed
I'm thrilled with this amp so far. The cleans are full and sound just beautiful. The distorted tones don't really suit my tastes. It's a perfect sound for classic rock or blues but I typically play high-gain riff-based rock, & the amps overdrive channels sounds a little thin to my ears. However when I have it on the clean/crunch channel and kick on my Boss OS-2 or EHX Big Muff Pi this thing cranks out more sweet filthy goodness than I could've hoped for in a sub $1000 amp.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
