The Cuddeback IR Model E2 Long Range Camera is famed for its ¼ second trigger speed. This helps users capture wildlife images with lesser blanks. It also has a new and compact micro housing that makes its design ergonomic. The device uses Long Range IR technology that facilitates an IR illumination of 2 W and an infrared flash limit up to 100 feet. This becomes evident in the resultant images of the subject without a visible light output. The camera is able to capture properly exposed images with little or no motion blur. In addition, the camera has an HD aspect of 16:9 and a full aspect ratio of 4:3 for user convenience.Product Identifiers

Simply the best camera!
I just purchased 2 more E2's that were sold as a pair. I now have 8 of these and they are the only trail cameras I will use. I prefer the E2's over the E3's as I feel the night pictures and videos are of better quality. I wish I could put a stobe flash in the E2 because I have gotten many spectacular night pictures with a flash with my older capture series cuddebacks that I have retired for this version. Great options and easy to get along with. I got into using video modes a few years back and have gotten some fantastic and interesting footage. Great camera!!!
I bought my 1st e2 last year and haven't been disappointed yet. I now have 5 of these ! Awesome daytime and night photos ! The only thing that's a little difficult is pulling the sd card out but can easily be fixed by putting a tab of tape on the bottom of the sd card. Battery life has lasted me approximately 5 months but I have mine set on advanced mode and 3 picture burst. Overall very pleased with my cuddeback. I definitely will be purchasing more!!!

Thinking about buying another one!
The fast shutter speed, which is the reason I bought this model, captures excellent night and day shots of the wildlife in my woods. I know some men have said they have difficulty removing the SD card from the slot in the camera. An easy solution would be to take a 1-1/2 inch piece of scotch tape, fold it in half while attaching one end to the front of the SD card and the other end to the back of the SD card leaving a 'tab' for the person to grasp when removing the card. Problem solved.

Second Cuddeback I've purchased. First one was in 09. Right out of the box loaded with batteries and programmed it (very easy) and put it to work. Great pics day and night! Really pleased considering the negative reviews I read, however I do not do videos. I followed the recommendation from one user to hang a tab of duck tape on the bottom of the sd card in order to easily remove it with cold fingers. Great idea. Really satisfied with the camera.
