1st Generation 2006 MacPro 1,1 processor upgrade.
This is not a difficult job to do - there is so much information in both written and video format as to how to go about it. These can be sourced on Youtube, Macrumors, Xlr8yourmac, and various other websites. I have also upgraded the graphics card = which is an ATI Radeon HD5770 1GB. So Far - So Good. Items as described.
Working and being tested now. Writing this on the machine I bought them for. Only thing I'd recommend for a MacPro (1,2 2,1) is a little more thermal paste be supplied. Those machines have "I'm guessing" a larger heatsink. For a MacPro (1,2 -2,1) you'll need a long handle 3mm hex tool. Happy with the items though. _Tyson
