A good replacement for my old unit.
The model supplied would not accept banana plugs, which was a pity. Some problems getting stereo on one tuner. Otherwise very good.

Yamaha AS201 - sounds good to me!
A very good looking amp, nice weighted dial, buttons feel good quality with a solid, pronounced click as they are pressed, as you would expect from Yamaha. Sound wise its a beauty. Ample bass, though not thundering, with clear highs and crisp mid range; and "pure direct"; a pass-through if you don't want to use the built in bass and treble values. I have my Roland Fantom XR "Theatre Organ In a Box" running through it with some floor speakers and it sounds fantastic. Used it with my PC for music and movies, and with a bit of tweaking with the graphic equalizer on the PC, it sounds absolutely brilliant, very warm sound.
