The interface is built tough. There is a small amount of latency, but its expected and can be corrected for. There is also a learning curve. It is easy to use, but expect to take a little time to get to know it. The microphones sound great! Especially considering the value of this package. Windows 7 requires Security Essentials update to install drivers. If you are current on your windows updates no problem, utherwise you will need to turn on updates and manuallly update. The Focusrite Pres are awesome, they compete with my high end API series 500 pres. Software interface is easy and very handy. This is a killer DAW interface.
