  • Great Crossbow Package

I am an avid deer hunter who mostly hunts with a rifle or muzzleloader. I recently decided to purchase a crossbow to extend my hunting season on my lease in Georgia. After doing a lot of research online and looking at the various models available at Bass Pro Shops and several other sporting goods stores I elected to go with the Barnett Ghost 360. It was very easy to set up, and after only about 6 shots had the scope dialed in dead on for the first circle at 20-25 yards. The scope has a total of 7 aiming points with 3 circles, 3 dots, and the bottom post. It is dead on up to 25 yards using the first circle, and then in order it hits the bullseye using the other aiming points at 30, 35, 40, 45, 50-55, and then 60 yards using the post. As a lot of other reviewers stated, it is extremely accurate and my first group at 60 yards was about 2 1/2". The scope also comes with the option of lighted dots for use in low light conditions. Some of the reviews I read said the scope was not very good, but I disagree. Of all the others I looked at, this one was my favorite. Just make sure it comes with the 'Premium Lighted scope' and you can't go wrong. Found this bow package on ebay for a great price, and all in all I am very satisfied with my purchase.

  • Barnett has a winner here!

My first crossbow was a Wildcat C5. I more or less stumbled into getting it, as I had never even held a crossbow before buying it. It was the only crossbow the local archery shop had, so I bought it, wanting to hunt with a bow, but not having a lot of experience with a standard bow either. I figured a crossbow would be a good way to transition from my rifle. Anyway the C5 served me well for a couple of years. I never failed to get a deer. Then the wife decided she wanted to hunt this year. So, I handed down my C5 to her, and bought the Ghost. Definitely a step up in speed from the C5. I find it a little easier to shoot freehand, as the balance is a touch better. The CRT really helps in this department. Construction overall is on par with much higher priced crossbows, in my opinion. Its fairly quiet, and doesn't lurch at all when fired. Manufacturer's packaging was great, everything in it's place. A full and complete package with bow, arrows (with tips), scope, cocking rope, and even a small tube of rail/string lube. I like not having the stirrup sticking out in front. Its just a mean looking weapon..lol Its a great bow, and a better value!

  • Great Crossbow for hunting!

Hey... You know what I am probably a lot like you I work hard for my money and there is never enough to go around. But sometimes you get a little extra money and you decide and go ahead and buy something that you have been wanting for a while. Well after months of looking and comparing crossbows of all makes and models the Barnett Ghost 360 gives me the most value and reliability for the money I spent. I am 61 years old now and have hunted with stick and string all my life. But it was time to try the crossbow for hunting. This Ghost shot well right out of the box. First shot at 20 yards hit 10 o'clock on 4 inch bullseye. 3 shots later I was hitting a golf ball center bulls eye. I am really looking forward to getting after those big bucks this year. The Ghost is made well and has that great quality look and feel. I would give this bow a 5 star rating compared to all the other crossbows that are priced much higher.

  • Worth the money

I have had the xbow now for 4 months. I have shot it 100-150 times. It performs today as good as it did right out of the box. I shot the supplied Arrows through a chronograph and can only get about 340 fps, not the advertised 360 fps. However, 340 fps is plentry fast enough. At 30 yards the arrow past right through a deer, rib to rib shot and buried out of sight in the dirt. I was 25 feet high and the arrow did not slide under the top of the dirt, it was at a steep angle buried in the dirt in an oak bottom/pine area. The ease of control is good, weigh distribution is very good. The trigger is a bit long in the pull but the poundage to pull it is very usable, especially when shooting at game. Much less noticeable on the pull than target shooting. The scope supplied could be better, in bright daylight it is fine, in low light it does not draw a lot of light. The luminated reticle is too bright even on the lowest setting and is very hard to see past when in low light. I would buy it again if I had too.

  • Quality at a good price.

I have had excellent Barnett products in the past and the Ghost 360 is no acceptation. I haven't had it long enough for field testing but on the back yard range it shoots 10X time after time. It shoots such a tight group at 20 yards that I don't shoot two bolts at the same bull to avoid knock and vane damage. I bought it as a kit and assembled it myself. It goes together quickly and easily. The only surprise was the cocking force required. Just a bit much for me, so I installed a CCD, Crank Cocking Device. The CCD install easily also. I had to replace one of the 4-40 screws in the CCD kit that was slightly damaged, but the Ghost kit had extra screws, so no problem.

  • Ghost 360 CRT

My first crossbow. I was very impressed with three bullseyes at twenty yards, right out of the box. I look forward to the 2017 hunting season with this kind of accuracy at my disposal. The power, and fps are very impressive too. Seems like I got a great deal on a great bow. The only problem I encountered was the cocking rope was too long for me and needed to be adjusted, no big deal.

  • Amazing crossbow

The Barnett ghost 360 is very impressive. Sighting in the crossbow is very easy, I used the top dot at 20 and the rest of the dots are true out to 70 yards. Yes that's right 70 yards! The power of this crossbow by far out does the ten point crossbow of similar stats. The Barnett sinks bolts 2 inches deeper then the ten point at 30 yards and even out to 60 yards. I would recommend the ghost 360 to anyone, great value and even better performance!

  • My son absolutely loved it.........

My son was shooting this Crossbow with 100% accuracy within a few days of it being here. He loves the light up scope and the entire look of this bow is just SHARP!! He liked the weight of this bow also. The Carbon Light really does make a difference. He liked the guard rail handle that keeps your hand out of harms way while shooting. Over all it performance and looks where just fantastic.

  • Barnet Ghost 360

Love this bow, it was dead on accurate out of the box no sight adjustment need. My wife can group quarter size group in the bullseye at 20 yards and she never shot one before!!! At only 7 lbs and with the carbon riser its easy to hold for long period of time. Don't listen to the Barnett critics ( Guys who own 10 points) this is an awesome crossbow

  • My 1st Crossbow

Very impressed as this was my 1st crossbow purchase. I am in my lower 50's and have never missed the Wisconsin archery season since I was 12 yrs old. I have taken many deer with a bow and no doubt will take many more I hope. This bow is fast - seems to be of good quality and very surprised how flat shooting it is out to 35yrds. After that it drops a bit but the scope will accommodate 60 yrds shots with ease. Very happy w purchase.
