Serving a prequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Old Blood finds gamers guiding Captain B.J. Blazkowicz on two missions deep inside Nazi Germany. There are a handful of new weapons to wield and a variety of new enemies to battle as layers can wield a handful of new weapons as they break into Castle Wolfenstein, battle an evil prison warden, and try to discover the location of General Deathshead's secret compound. The action then leads to the city of Wulfburg, where an ancient and destructive power is being excavated by a Nazi archaeologist. As in The New Order, The Old Blood doesn't let players recover health simply by avoiding combat for a few moments. Health regenerates in small segments, and gamers must use a cover and lean mechanic to avoid taking too much damage, while locating health or armour to fully recover. There are also number of perk trees that reward gamers with upgrades and new abilities depending on the way they engage in combat.

Good storyline. and great graphics
Make this Wolfenstein one of my favourite, not just of other Wolfensteins but favourite video game. The areas castle is well thought out and probably one of the best designed areas, it’s compelling to search every nook and cranny. Gameplay caters for all, easyJet but still a challenge to insidiously hard, difficulty being able to change within the game so you can make it harder or easier as you are playing without restarting from the beginning. I bought the game used as I do with all of them but this is worth every penny.
