Good, strong stands
These stands look well made and strong. A nice thick metal pin to set the level of the stand. I chose this design rather than the ratchet design so that there is zero chance of any sudden failure. If I'm underneath 2 tonne of Landrover I'd rather trust a solid metal pin than a ratchet design. Good size seat on the top of the stand makes for a solid hold on the underbody. Very pleased. Professional axle stands.
As soon as you unpack these axle stands, you can see they built to a standard, not down to a price, made in the UK and finished with a decent coat of paint too. Solid Axle stand, just watch the minimum height
Really impressed by the construction of these and they would have been a keeper for sure, if only I could fit them under my car. My 3 tonne sealey couldn't get the car high enough for these to fit so I had to sell them on :(. Just like things used to be made.
Really well constructed axle stands,, that look every bit capable of supporting the advertised 6 tonnes. Every joint strongly welded, and good thick steel used throughout, even the locking pins are double, and of heavy gauge. They appear to be well painted too, for those of you concerned with cosmetics.
