    Time will tell

I haven't tried all the attachments as yet, but it blitzes ingredients quite well, but be sure you don't leave it on longer than advised - 30 secs to 1 minute, as you'll burn out the motor. The whisk attachments looks a bit flimsy, but I'm not too bothered as I have a sturdy whisker I can use instead. When you want to use the chopper you have to put the small container inside the large container, so I fear double the washing - we'll see! Rubber feet ensure it doesn't go flying off along the counter. Pros: Whiskes well Cons: Advises do not put in dish washer, but easy enough to swill out, just be careful of the blade attachment if you value your fingers

    Positively dangerous.

I have since found out through use, that the blender 'screws' into the base and that this tightens as you fix it to the motor unit (turning it clockwise), it also UNDOES this seal when you turn the blender handle anti clockwise to remove it from the motor unit. That means the blender and it's base (with the cutter blade) come apart, and you can end up with liquid all over the worktop, you, the floor and the motor unit and as we all know, water and electricity don't mix. Terribly dangerous design. I have also found that the cutting blade, when used with the grinding canister, is so high above the bottom of the grinding attachment, that to grind small amounts of coffee, seeds, seasoning etc, that it's completely ineffective. Now take a look at these other observations. You can only use it for 30 seconds before you have to let it cool down (In the instructions). No hot liquids in blender so no soup making - room temp only (again in the instructions). Not dishwasher safe then. I've since tried to put hot liquids (no where near boiling) into the blender, and it fractures immediately. This is very, very dangerous, especially for people who only scan read instructions and assume it's safe for hot liquids. I will certainly not be buying Andrew James' equipment again.

  • It’s worksfine

There is nothing wrong with this item. Maybe if you are a heavy duty cook it won’t cut it. But fir me, I read all the bad reviews and basically, if you’re gentle with it, it does every thing it says it does. I use the mill for coffee beans, I’ve use the whisk and the food processor. Just be careful with the base of the blender. You may accidentally think you are releasing the base of the stand but the blender base comes away if you are not familiar. I spilt liquid everywhere lol! I think this is where the cheaper design can frustrate some people. I really like it. Thank you Andrew James.

  • Andrew James food processor

I've been wanting a food processor for ages now, being a mother of five I spend most of my time in the kitchen! It's really easy to use and probably the only thing a cook needs to make a variety of meals and drinks....I use it for prepping veg, sauces/chutneys, smoothies, chopping meat for kebabs and loads more....I think the only negative thing about it is the constant worry if you use it for more than a minute it might mess up, but generally it doesn't take more than a minute to chop slice etc anyway. My advice would be to ensure you have all the food/meat washed and ready beforehand so you can get cracking using the food processor to make sure you don't exceed the time....overall a brilliant product definately would recommend

  • Good value for money

I bought this to replace a much more expensive food processor by one of the leading manufacturers that had come to the end of its (disappointingly short) life. This new processor has all the attachments/functions I need and more. Good points: lots of kit for your money, seems well made, dishwasher safe at low temperatures, straightforward instruction leaflet, fits on worktop under kitchen cupboards Bad points: the blade for the smaller bowl is too small: I have tried several ingredients in it and they just whizz around and remain intact. No storage unit for blades and attachments (although luckily they fit my old one), lids rather stiff initially. Overall - a good buy so far, but only time will tell.

  • Good quality product

I m very pleased with the product. Even though the manual is not written as clearly as I would have wished, it is not difficult to figure out the machine. Yes, the different parts need to line up for the processor to operate, which I see it can be a pain for some, but I see sense in this; the friction is reduced so u won't end up with chewed away bits of plastic and it is more safe for your fingers. It's easy to clean and packs away nicely (I m still using the box it came in). I just hope it will last me for years, will see about that....

  • good

Ate first it a bit confusing but once you know about the parts and how to get it to work properly it fine there a lock so it does not work if the mixing bowl or jug or parts are not on right it won't work which is good if you have kids but once you got every one right it's great you have to use it like the manual says as it jumps if you use different to what is said ,looks nice and easy to use once you know what to do but like I said you have to use it just as manual said not your own choice that the only downfall on this item
