EXIDE AGM ETX14-BS battery for BMW F800GS (2009)
Bought it to replace a original BMW battery in a UK 2009 BMW F800 GS. Battery is the same size. So first perfectly. I installed a 4mm spacer under the bracket to make the fit even tighter. The original battery was also a EXIDE ETX14-BS batter, but branded as BMW. So they are the same. The terminal screws were the same size as the originals. The battery comes with 2 lengths of terminal screws. The longer have a spacer on them. Presumably to lift the wires up from the top of the battery. The battery came pre-filled with acid, and charged to about 12.4v. I left it on a trickle charger for 5 hours and it measured 13.5v. Installed it yesterday and the bike started without hesitation after sitting in the garage for at least a year.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Caution - This does not fit a Harley 883 Iron
This does not fit a Harley 883 Iron. I am sure it is a good battery and good value but not for a 883 Iron. Nowhere was there a picture or information re positive and negative terminal positions. On this battery they are opposite way round so be careful. I couldn't return as I had already filled with acid so left with pretty useless battery now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Heavier battery/higher CCA
This battery is a fair bit heavier than similar sized batts. which means the lead plates are thicker which is the reason it supplies a higher CCA (cold cranking amps= more enduring engine turn capability) and should keep charge longer. Good quality case and agm system means you are not stuck with vertical mount only, tho' most apps are.
