damn good reels
Have being using shimanos since the day they started to make reels, the 14000 xtd will most likely be the last reels i will have to buy, so i made my mind up to buy 3 of them, all in all the quality is not as good as it used to be, but they are still a top notch reel, line lay not bad, i just need to adjust the washers on the spindle, the only thing i suppose i can really make a comment on is the handle!! for some strange reason shimano are still using 50s and 60s techololgy, the way you have to tighten up the screw to hold the handle firm, cant understand why shimano dont just do a fold up handle !!, trying to use 3 of these reels on a normal pod will be almost impossible as the handles will be hitting the other reels..so it looks like extra wide parts (bars) on my pod which is going to cost me more cash..sadly..apart from that, i in my humble opinion, they are very good products..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
