Local drop stations
These were purchased by my Torphichen Night Watch Group. A similar group to Neighbourhood Watch but are more a Proactive Group, we don’t sit at home twitching curtains. We are a proactive group who patrol our little village from 8pm and 8am with Hi-Vis gear and radios, this allows anyone coming into the village to steal or cause damage, they tend not to come back because they know we are here and are aware of what they are doing. The local Community Council and the Police, have approved our inception into the village, and they have taken steps that if there are any problems, they tend to call us instead of the Police who are terribly undermanned. We are not thyPolice, but we work hand in hand with them. The elderly in this village have become very frightened of late as there are many young people who have been placed in temporary homes or are living with parents, and they have caused so much trouble, that the elderly are afraid to complain for fear of reprisals. The use of these post boxes will allow the OAPs to pop something into the box and nobody would know who’s having problems and when, All we need now is another 2 boxes when I can afford them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
