  • Great baritone uke

I can't believe the sound from this uke. I had heard people playing baritone ukes and found they were dull and rather rattly sounding. I borrowed one which had been fitted with G tuning strings that sounded OK. I bought this with the intention of changing the strings, but the sound is so nice that I haven't bothered. People who have heard it can't believe the sound either. It looks great, although the smooth rounded back bowl does slide if you don't wear a strap. Of course, you will have to learn the new chord shapes if you are used to playing a normal uke. If you play guitar then you will be OK.

  • Good build quality uke

Love the quality and comfortable feel. Had to lower the action a bit at the nut. Like the sound which is not as bright as an all wood instrument, somewhere between a classical guitar and a lute. Buy it on it's own sound merits and consider it an instrument apart and you won't be disappointed. Works fine with an amp but that is besides the point for the roundback. It's loud enough and portable without. Would rayher have an inbuilt tuner that a pickup.

  • Great looking Uke

Hi yes this is a lovely looking well made instrument, pleasant to play and hold. For any Uke player wanting something a little louder and bigger to play I would recommend this Uke.

  • Clearwater baritone roundback ukulele

It came with standard baritone strings fitted and sounded great. The D string broke on day one so I got the GCEA Aquila strings and a D’Addario low G The strings are still bedding in but it still sounds excellent and is a treat to play. The round plastic back makes it a little awkward to handle but a full strap overcomes this Highly recommended but I haven’t tried the electrics yet
