The tiny tach is a convenient tool to ensure your engine is running at the proper RPM as well as measuring engine run time for both total and resetable job timing. This model has the option to check RPM on engines ranging from 1 spark per 2 rotations, 1 spark per ratotion all the way to 8 sparks per rotation. It is an important diagnostic tool for any small engine mechanic and it can also be mounted semi-permanently to your machine. The tiny tach is the most accurate RPM Guage that I have found. First day I installed, it broke.
