Is has given me great pleasure. Also the 2BIL and 2HIL are available to complete a typical semi-fast train.
It brings back memories of when I was at school in Crawley and lived within 5 minutes walk to Crawley Station where I would go after tea and watch the trains. There were still steam engines to be seen as well as the electric trains which 2BILs, 2HALs and 4CORs. The 4CORs were on the fast trains to Portsmouth from Victoria. Crawley Station still had its goods yard with shunting in the early evening. The model runs very smoothly and is quite in operation. The model is very detailed and can be used with other units including the 2BIL and 2HIL units if the controller can provide enough current. I have run 3 units together successfully but I was unable to measure the current consumption. I am very pleased with this model.
