However- this paper is a lot more light sensitive than those of the early 19th century- so an instant burst of flashlight or a few seconds of continuous light in a darkened room will do the job.

  • Paper instead of film for large format cameras.

Comes highly recommended for large format users. I have some loaded up so need to get out there. Plenty of advice on exposure calculations on the web for this material.

  • This thing makes photography fun again!

Tried it directly on my 4x5 and the results were fun and exciting. Its very high contrast but flashing allows a much lower contrast. Flashing however requires a controlled, homogeneous and weak light source (enlarger). Tried it both with a desk lamp and with an enlarger, and with the desk light my results were hit and miss while with the enlarger it was right every time. The blacks are very very deep, very glossy. The only issue is that it curls a lot. You must dry it flat under tension otherwise its a pain. This paper makes photography fun again!
