Wipe-clean, waxed cotton construction. However there are a few downsides. The 4 fasteners to get into the bag is quite a mission too. Great on style, poor on comfort. It's not very rigid either, so unless it's at capacity it hangs off your shoulders like an empty sack.

Seems rugged and robust. Love the vintage look. Not tried it yet so cannot justify 5 stars untested. Roll top keeps unravelling when bag is empty but I assume it will stay put when filled.
