I used this glue to re-attach the rear window of a Audi A3 convertible, the glass is very heavy so was unsure whether the adhesive would be adequate. The window had become detached from the canvas about 50% along the top and 50% down one side and would eventually have fallen out. I took time to clean off as much of the old adhesive as possible, not a big deal. I then made up some temporary props to help support the window from the inside so I could press down the canvas from the outside. Once I had applied the adhesive I left it to dry completely for a few days then trimmed off the surplus adhesive with a brand new sharp blade. Absolutely brilliant, you would never know it had been repaired!. That’s well over a year or more ago. Still perfect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simply amazing sealant kit
I used this kit to re-seal the glass rear window on my convertible roof. It was totally successful and made a neat and tidy job. The key to this is cleaning the glass and canvas roof of all the old adhesive and crud, masking the canvas roof to save cleanup after and careful application of the primer. Once applied the primer is the key to the operation, where the sealant is applied to the primer you really have to work hard with a sharp blade to remove any excess... it sticks like !!!! I did the job a few weeks ago and since then we’ve had the strongest of wind and the heaviest of rain.. no leaks. Handy kit - did a good job
Complete kit used to refix back window on my soft top. The only other things we needed were clamps to hold window while glue dries and lots of masking tape and paper. While this stuff is good it is really messy. We looked at some of the tips and videos on using this which I recommend you do - the main useful tips we found were (a) mask everything you don't want glue on and (b) wear a few pairs disposable gloves so you can peel them off one paid at a time as you go along.
