Bad components
Leads don't fit to large,plating to thick hard to tighten nuts. Tracing pointer to sharp had to fill point of it. Would be good product if better quality component where used still typical Chinese quality. With a little bit of work it should be ok. Good quality Pentograph.
I haven't used this yet, hence my star review level. Pantographs are a little tricky to use, so I am actively looking at uTube videos. The item came well packaged. On first inspection, this appears to be a very sturdy, well-constructed piece of technical drawing equipment, which I can't wait to try. Instructions enclosed. Experience is required
It is harder than one thinks to master the use of this piece of equipment. There is nothing wrong with the product but there's very little advice on how to use it. I used Youtube for advice and yet I cannot see how I can use this particular gadget to significantly do a copy 1-2-1 or less so to substantially copy magnify a photo of ,mine. I am very sure that in older times the experience in use and weight of brass versions were very successful. Alas, I must admit it seems that this is not for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant, does just what I wanted
Appears to be a great quality item, pretty sturdy in my opinion. It does take a bit of practice to get used to using this but I have had some great results. As I'm fairly new to painting I like to paint from photographs and always have problems getting things into perspective, I can now use this to enlarge objects easily from the photo onto my canvas and it all looks so much better.
