Trades a tiny bit of comfort for much better durability
I had an older version of this that had softer pads that you bite down on. This updated version has harder pads that you bite down on, and they seemed a tiny bit thicker. Because of this it’s not quite as comfortable as the old version but I can see how this will hold up much better, and how they can claim it holds up for a year or more. I’ve gotten used to it over the past couple Of weeks. I’m OK to give up a tiny bit of comfort for much better longevity.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

DOWNSIZE the wings already!
In the past, I purchased a different no-boil Sleep Right guard that was much more comfortable and streamlined. This current version is made of harder material and the bite wings are entirely TOO BIG. The wings extend uncomfortably up into your gums on upper jaw. It's hard to sleep with it... how a horse must feel with a bit in its mouth. Do you want to sacrifice sleep time trying to 'chew' and reshuffle it in your mouth to make it work? The manufacturer needs to redesign and scale it TF down. I was tempted to spit it out in the middle of the night because it was irritating my gums. Couldn't wait to remove it in the morning. Annoying. I continue to use my old one —even tho it's seen better days— because I need sleep. Definitely will buy another brand next time. Durable and Pretty Comfortable
I've tried many different dental guard and find this is the best. I found I tend to spit out the dental guards that encircle your teeth so I tried a different version of this brand. While I liked it, I found I bit through them usually within a month. I noticed several versions of this brand and decided to try this one. While it's not quite as comfortable as the less expensive, it's no uncomfortable. It's also much more durable. Makes my lower gums hurt and doesn´t stay on place.
Doesn´t unfortunately fit to my mouth well and it makes me want to bite my teeth together even more to make it stay on place. The front part makes also my gums hurt. It would be better if it would not get in touch with gums at all. Someone else probably likes this and gets help, but sadly this wasn´t for me, even if it is adjustable. Excellent for bruxism, and helps with snoring
I've been using Sleep Right Dura Guard for years. I replace it about every year even though it does not really need to be replaced. I do it just in case. I have tried all the others, including custom made products for $500 from my dentist. No thanks. This one beats them all.
