    Did the job but with one minor issue.

    It did the job and enabled me to get a tab style hose clip onto a hose in a really awkward place. The key feature was the ratchet lock which worked well and allowed the clip to be held securely and fully open so you could then get both hands onto it to rock it over the end of the hose. My only slight issue is that the swivelling jaws are held on with round head rivets and these catch on the ends of the tabs on the clip. This just made it a little bit awkward to use but as I say, it did the job.

    Useful tool for mechanics, DIY or restorers.

    A very useful piece of kit, especially for awkward to get at, hose clips, it has a ratchet to hold it closed, making it easier to manoeuvre the clip down the hose if necessary.

    Better than pliers in hard to get to places in the engine compartment.

    Grips the clamp without sliding out like my pliers do. I'm glad I finally bit the bullet on such an inexpensive tool that is worth every penny. Keep it in the tool box.
