Works perfectly & easy to install - highly recommended.
I was going to buy a vehicle specific towbar electrics kit for our Mercedes R350CDI, but the cost is ludicrous for what you get so I thought that I'd try this kit on the basis that it didn't cost very much and it was worth seeing whether it would work without causing any issues. The most difficult job was identifying which wire on the car loom triggered each rear light (and that wasn't very difficult) and once piggy-backed onto these, the bypass relay performs flawlessly, with a perfectly audible beep when the trailer indicator lights are in operation. I can't comment as to its longevity at this time, but I have no reason to believe that it still won't be working flawlessly for many years to come. Definitely recommended.

Fitted to 2017 Merc C Coupe
Works perfect with a 2017 Mercedes C250d Coupe. The only thing I found is that the side lights on my cycle carrier are always on, this is due to the Mercedes passing a small voltage along the sidelight cable when the Day light running lights are on. This voltage increases when the side light are activated by the car. However due to a voltage being detected by this converter unit it triggers the sidelight relay. I personally don’t have an issue with this.
