I needed a remote for my a77II. This one does the job. Very easy to use even in the dark. Small and weighs next to nothing. I can't say anything about battery life since it still runs on the first battery I put in it. Oh, and did I mention..it's cheap! For the money can’t really fault this gadget though I’m using it with a Sony a7r IV and you have to be quite close to the camera for it to work,no more than two metres and generally in front of the camera for best results but if you want a remote to work any further away you will have to use the Sony unit which costs nearly ten times the amount so just depends on your needs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
