Good value for money.
It's a decent small vice for a modest amount of money. There are times when a workmate isn't practical for a job and I haven't had a lot of satisfaction with assorted portable vices. They might be great for light craft work but they aren't much use for woodwork or shortening a bolt. This product has a useful 4 inch jaws and the vice is stable with a good size base which is readily clamped to a surface if necessary. There are better alternatives out there if you are a professional worker but it's great for the money.

Very good for the price
This is very good for the price. The base is a nice solid casting if a little un-refined in the finish (hence one star off) I have already used it several time and the clamp works well - overall satisfied with the clamp.
