The rucksack chest strap is made from strong and durable nylon, both portable and light weight and easy to wipe clean. May not be suitable for smaller children. The Sternum Strap length is adjustable from 10cm (4”) at its tightest to 60cm (23.5”) when fully extended, with a strap width of 2.5cm (1”).

Entirely functional and bargain priced! Excellent!
A great product that does exactly what it is meant to do brilliantly well! Easily installed, quick to use when worn, and very comfortable and supportive when I use mine cycling to stop the rucksack shoulder straps from slipping off my shoulders. The quality is there, the price is excellent, and I wonder why I hadn't thought of purchasing these before as they really are good!

Does the job
Does the job of adding a chest strap to a rucksack that I use. The plastic fittings seem quite sturdy and for the price I'm happy with the quality. And it stops my rucksack sliding off my shoulder.

Far too short!
The quality is ok but it is just far too short, for anyone needing these straps not to impair movement and breathing I suggest you either buy a backpack with them already fitted or search for longer straps. These ones are far too restrictive which is why I cannot recommendation them to anyone else.

Effective stabilisation of backpack.
This useful accessory joins the two shoulder straps of a backpack at chest level. Once suitably tightened it prevents the pack from excessive movement when walking and so reducing discomfort and fatigue.
