TeckNet Cordless Door Bell
I purchased this product for my mother who is hard of hearing. It was incredibly simple to set up and was up and running in minutes. No wiring required-simply plugged in chime to mains socket and stuck the push button to the door using the adhesive pad that came with the product. It even had a battery pre installed in push button section so was ready to use immediately. I am very impressed on it's range. In our case, the reciever has to pick up through two doors, one being a heavy duty fire door and this product does so with no problems. We were able to select a chime that mum was able to hear from the large selection. Only works over very short distances.
Bought this door bell chime specifically because of the claims of long range. We hoped to place multiple receivers around our house and garden as we care for elderly parents and this device would help enormously. It appears to be built well, and was a cheap purchase. But it only worked at a maximum range of 8m which we tested through your house and garden. Our house is a average size 3 bed detached of brick construction so nothing unusual. With the door bell not working around our house we then used a very long extension cord to test different distances and were very disappointed with the results. It didn’t do what we intended it to do. Our hopes were to buy more for different locations but we won’t be doing this now. In fact as the device does not do what we want it to do at all and is therefore of no use to us and is now in the trash.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Door chime
Wonderful item. I bought for a friend with hearing problem. Her careers could not get into her flat because she did not hear them. Knocking the door. I installed the push button oh her door. Very simple i used the double sided tape supplied. It also had screws if you prefered. This system had to plug in chimes. I put one in bedroom one in living room. They are very loud so even with her headphones on to listen to tv she could still hear the chimes...they also have a blue flashing light incase you dont hear. There are lots of tunes to choose from. Her careers love it. In fact wheh they first heard it they came dancing down the hallway . Then went out and rang it again lol. I visited her today and changed the tune just for fun. Its a great item very well made and no distortion when tune play. Easy to instal. Just remember to take the plastic tap on the door bell so battery will work. A doorbell with Flexibility
It comes with TWO 13amp chiming stations. So we have one in the hall and one in the garden shed. If we have grandchildren sleeping upstairs, we just unplug the one in the hall and re-install it in the living room - with the volume reduced. No wires, no hassle, easy to use, wide range of chimes, volume control on both chimers & long range (my shed is at the top of a 100ft garden). Works very well but...
In my experience the plug-in units work very well, but are not really loud enough to be heard all over the house The solution for me was to buy a second set, so that I could fit one plug-in unit upstairs, one on the landing and another downstairs This left me with a 'spare' plug-in unit - so I installed it in my garage, which is more than 30 yards away from the house I had a 'spare' bell-push at this stage and was delighted to find that I could 'program' the bell-pushes so that they had two different chime-tunes at all four plug-in units When I am working in the garage and the plug-in unit chimes. I immediately know whether it's someone at the door or whether it's my wife calling me (to give me a bollocking for skiving over there - usually ha-ha) Seriously though - I would definitely buy this equipment again. Easily installed and functional door bell
Although the product is described as waterproof, the symbols on the packaging indicate that it is not. However, provided it's not exposed to the full force of the weather, it should be OK. Having tried the 32 chimes we chose the default chime. If I'm working in the garage, out of sight of the front door and out of earshot of the first receiver unit, I take the second receiver unit with me, so that I can hear the doorbell. Having spent many hours cleaning the contacts and adjusting the ringer of our old wired door bell, this wireless door bell is so much easier to use and the receiver units can be placed wherever they are needed, rather than in the fixed hall location of the ringer for the old wired door bell.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Range!
I work from home , and my office is a building in the back garden about 10 mtrs away from the house, making it nearly 40 mars from the front door , then add to that our house is largely stone and so we have never managed to find a wireless doorbell that works until now!
