Powerful, light, fast burning stove
I already owned a cheap copy version of this stove when I bought the evernew. The evernew stove performs better as it is lighter, all the jets light up faster and it boils water quicker. The drawback is that it burns through fuel faster. I have found, in order to maximise efficiency and speed, the evernew stove should be used in conjunction with a windbreak even when there isn't really a breeze as it reflects all that heat onto your pot. Because of the comparatively slow burning of the cheaper stove the windbreak effect is less noticeable but still has an effect in speeding up your boil time. In summary if you already own the copy it probably isn't worth buying the evernew, just buy a cheap windbreak or even make one from some foil.
