Fine if your prepared to adapt it slightly..
This is a good sized cold frame just found it to be very flimsy and with no base,not secured on a windy day....only a few pre drilled holes which means you have to make holes yourself...and maybe not in the right place....instructions not too clear either. Thought for the money the wood would have been better quality...Would recommend to someone who is handy as they can adapt it....BUT not wanting to be negative totally...I shall make little adaptations....and get growing my lovely summer veg.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good starting point
A good starting point if you are willing and able to make modifications. Basically it would blow away given a good gust of wind ,so I secured it to a base made of 4x2 timber and a subframe of slater's laths.....it's going nowhere now. Quality wise you get what you pay for..it's cheap...it's softwood...so you will have to treat it to stop it dropping to bits. I used teak oil. First time in buying a cold frame and after looking at reviews on others I decided to purchase this one. So after arriving a day earlier I put it together. Very easy assembly helped by the pre drilled holes, it took about 10 minutes to put together. Very light weight which probably could do with adding a couple of anchor points.
