Smell and aftertaste
I bought this based on the reviews of it having a neutral flavour. Well, upon opening the first bag, the smell was overpowering. So much so I blamed it on the dog! After I realised it was the collagen, my heart sunk a little. I have since tried finding a way to ingest it without me tasting it. Great product and easy to use.
This marine collagen is fantastic. It is very fine so it will mix well with anything, and it's tasteless as well. I have it in protein shakes, but it would sit just as happily in fruit juice or cordial without affecting the taste. I don't know how much of a difference it actually makes to the body, but it contains a lot of protein so it can't do any harm, especially as I workout a lot. It's not cheap compared to some forms of collagen, but this is the real deal and it does last quite a long time before you run out, so overall I think it's the best value protein you can get.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
