Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) is a sweetener. I used to buy these probiotics from this company and always got more stomach problems when I started to take it regularly. I used to take it sometimes and was ok but when I started taking it regularly I started to get severe stomach problems: gas, cramps, feeling sick etc. So I tested it out. The times I didn’t take it I was great then I took it for 7days and I was in so much pain that I had to go hospital because of fructooligosaccharides (FOS). Read the ingredients properly before you buy anything. Hope my review helped you all. Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are a form of carbohydrate. The term saccharide is another word for sugar, and an oligosaccharide is a molecule made up of a small group of these sugars. Overusing fructooligosaccharides (FOS) can cause side effects, including digestive upset and abdominal stress. The potential side effects of using FOS include: * cramps * nausea * bloating * gas * diarrhea People with digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) may want to avoid using FOS, as their digestive system may not respond well to the effects.
