brilliant buy
I saw this tried out with several other much more expensive peelers on a TV programme, I have osteoarthritus and tendons problems, with both hands, havent managed to use a standard peeler for 6 months, desided to buy this one, tried it, and its absolutely brilliant, I have very weak hands,wrists whre I have had to rest them for months, and this peeler needs no pressure or strength. I bought this to peel butternut squash & was amazed at how good it is. Peeling a butternut squash is now just as easy as peeling an apple or a carrot. I could hardly believe how good it is. This is the most effective and comfortable vegetable peeler I've ever used. It glides through potatoes and carrots with ease - but what makes it exceptional is how it just as easily peels butternut squash and sweet potatoes too. Lightweight but sturdy and sharp
Although this is lightweight, it is strong. Since the blade is very sharp, there is no need to put much pressure on it when peeling. I find it easy to use even on sweet potatoes, which have skin as tough as the devil's hide. I also like peeling carrots and cucumbers into non-existence for ribbon salad or stirfry.
