I replaced the original clock about 8 years ago with one of these. That replacement failed this year with the clock no longer turning and the day use fixed timer only working on the 15 minute button. (It has four buttons for setting up to 2 hours). They seem to me to have a relatively short life but I bought this one as from the picture it was exactly the same unit and it would be an easy swop. In fact the clock that came was a bit different on the outside (switches in different positions) and internally it was quite different which meant some tricky work on the cable connections. I guess this is a later model but the clock part is exactly the same. It's been in and working for a few weeks now.There is a digital clock option which may be more robust, I don't know. It's easy to set and it does the job, my only concern being it's short life.Read full review
